Non-degree seeking students should fill out the Econ Course Permission below to request permission to enroll into undergraduate courses (699 and below) managed by the Department of Economics.

Formal Exchange Program (UNIS): These students are exchange students from an university that has a formal exchange agreement with UW-Madison. Please visit this page for more information and resources.

Domestic Special Students

Pre-Baccalaureate Students: These students are high school students, visiting undergraduate students from other universities in the U.S., or online only students. Please visit this page for more information and resources.

Post-Baccalaureate Students: These students have earned formal post-secondary degree, and are looking to enroll for professional development and/or pre-requisites for an higher education degree. Please visit this page for more information and resources (scroll down to the middle of the page).

Auditors: These students enroll in credit courses at UW-Madison at a reduced tuition rate and without earning credits. Please visit this page for more information about Guest auditors (UGST), and this page for more information about Senior Guest auditors (UGSR).
