Donate to Economics
Economics is often front page news around the world. It is also one of the most popular majors at UW-Madison, and the market for economists is extremely robust. We are fortunate to have as strong a team of faculty and staff in the department. But maintaining—and growing—our mission in research, teaching, career advising and placement is challenging.
We rely on the support of alumni who donate their time, energy and resources to help keep Wisconsin Economics one of the leading economics departments in the country. That support has grown in importance each year as we work to recruit and retain the best faculty, conduct groundbreaking research, and instruct and mentor the future leaders in our field.
Many of our economics alumni are actively involved with the department. If you are one of them, thank you so much for your continued support. If not, we invite you to help us make Wisconsin Economics an even better place for academicians, practitioners, students, and friends to thrive.
There are many ways that you can help. The most direct way to provide your support is with a charitable donation to the Economics Department Fund. Your contribution will help fund scholarships, support the research of faculty members and graduate students and help deliver support services to prepare our students for the future. If you have any questions about giving, please contact Mike Sweitzer-Beckman at 608-422-1667 or Mike.Sweitzer-Beckman@supportuw.org.
Please help by donating today—and thank you very much!
