The Department of Economics Advisory Board was formed in 2007 to increase engagement between the department and its alumni. The Board’s members are alumni who have excelled in a range of careers and pursuits and have a clear understanding of how instrumental UW—Madison’s Department of Economics has been in their success.
The Board’s mission is to enhance the department’s stature and standing by:
- Supporting a dynamic career services program and increasing internship and other professional opportunities for current students
- Tapping into vital alumni resources on behalf of the department
- Acting as goodwill ambassadors for the department
