The Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is pleased to host the 28th annual meeting of the Midwest Econometrics Group this fall, October 26-27, 2018. The department will also host a mentoring workshop for junior female economists as part of the conference. Resources to complete paper submission, registration, and lodging reservations can be found below.
Submitting a Paper:
- To be considered for the MEG Conference, papers must be submitted by Sunday, August 5, 2018.
- Acceptance decisions should be made by September 9, and authors will be notified by email.
- To view your submission, click here. At times the confirmation email goes to the spam folder, please make sure to check that as well. If there are any problems, please email mlaboda@wisc.edu.
- To help us appropriately allocate papers into individual themed sessions, we request that the author select a primary and a secondary subject area. On the submission form, the author can also fill in a primary and/or a secondary subject area if none of the provided choices are appropriate.
Although we will make every effort to have a full and diverse program, please be advised that submission of a paper does not guarantee inclusion into the final program.
Registration for the MEG Conference 2018 is required, and will close on September 5th.

Hotel Reservations:
Room blocks in Madison have been reserved for guests who have successfully completed their registration. If you have not registered for the MEG conference, you may not reserve a room. Please see the link at the bottom of this page to create a reservation.
