What has been your favorite Econ course?
ECON 400.
If you have any other majors or certificates in addition to Econ, how did you decide to add Econ or add the other major/certificate?
Econ is my primary Major, I am pursuing a certificate in Summer Business Fundamentals and a Supply Chain Exploration Badge as I want to pursue my higher studies in Supply Chain Management.
How do you manage your course load?
I keep it manageable every semester maintaining between 13 and 15 credits each semester.
Where did you intern/research, and did you have a good experience? Why or why not?
I interned as a Project Management and Strategy Intern at Qatar Development Bank in 2023 back home in Doha. I had a very pleasant experience as I was mentored by seniors with years and probably even a couple of decades in the field and I was engaged in some interesting projects. Since people in Qatar and in the Middle East come from various countries around the world so working and conversing with them about work and their personal journeys was highly enjoyable.
What advice do you have for students seeking an internship/research experience?
Networking, Strong Communication and Technical skills.
Do you know what you want to do after graduation? If yes, what? If not, what advice would you give to another student who may not know either?
I want to pursue a Masters Program in Supply Chain Management preferably here at UW Madison or in Europe.
