If you are a recent graduate looking for a leadership opportunity that will allow you to make a difference and stay connected to the Econ Department, then read on for more info about WEYAC! The Wisconsin Economics Young Alumni Council (WEYAC) is a diverse group of young professionals who promote meaningful and impactful engagement with the Department of Economics. WEYAC provides an opportunity for recent grads to continue to engage with each other, the department and current students.
As a member of WEYAC, you will meet and stay connected with other amazing econ alumni across the country. WEYAC activities include networking events, bi-annual meetings (hosted in Madison in the fall and virtually in the spring), involvement in the annual “Day of the Badger” online campaign and connecting with current students through the economics student organizations.
